ORGANISATION AND LEADERSHIP ROLES

1.       Member (Advocate) of the Bangladesh Bar Council (Enrolled in 1997).

2.       2018-present, Member, Bangabandhu Parishad, Rajshahi District Unit, Participated in numerous discussions, round tables and scholastic initiatives to uphold the ideology and philosophy of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and also the spirit of the Liberation War.

3.       2019-present, Member Secretary of the Sexual Harassment Prevention Committee, North Bengal International University, Rajshahi, which is responsible to investigate allegations of sexual harassment, and recommend measures to protect any sexual harassment at the university.

4.       2001-present, Vice-President, Consumers Association of Bangladesh (CAB-the apex body working in advancing the consumer rights in Bangladesh), Rajshahi, Bangladesh.

5.       2016-present, Performed as an Active Member of the Bangladesh National Woman Lawyers’ Association (BNWLA) to create equal opportunities and equal rights for every woman and child in the country and also to promote the rights and status of women lawyers alongside fighting for access to justice for women & children particularly for the most disadvantaged in Bangladesh and to support the women who are victim of Domestic Violence.

6.       2019-present, Performed as the Head Coach of Legal Clinic to disseminate the knowledge and enhance the skill of the Law students to conduct the legal procedure to settle the cases relating to violence and terrorism. The US Aid provided financial support while Rupantor (an NGO working in Khulna region) provided management supports for those programmes.

7.       2016-present, Member, Bangladesh Lekhika Sangha, Rajshahi, to advance the women development in Bangladesh through publication.

8.       2009-2014 (Perth, WA, Australia) Mentor and Organiser in several socio-cultural events and community development programmes as an active member of Bangladesh Australia Association of Western Australia (BAAWA) dedicated to uphold Bengali culture in abroad and enhance Australia-Bangladesh friendship.

9.       Performed active roles in the cultural movement as an organiser and cultural activist to uphold the spirit of the Liberation War and the Independence of Bangladesh and build people’s awareness and knowledge on Bengali Culture. Played leadership roles as mentor, organiser and performer in various cultural organisations since early boyhood such as, Kachi Kachar Mela, Pangsha, Rajbari (1985-1989), Shanan, Rajshahi University (1990-1991), University Theater, Rajshahi (1990-present), Rajshahi University Debating Forum (1992-1996), DeshNatak, Dhaka (1997-1999).
